2023 WMC

The 2023 MWC, with the slogan “UNLEASHING TOMORROW’S TECHNOLOGY – TODAY”, focused on the integrated innovation of 5.5G (5G-A) and satellite internet. Boasting a peak rate of 10Gbps and microsecond-level latency, 5.5G networks supported deterministic network needs across various industries, including vehicle-to-everything (V2X) and smart grids. Satellite communication technology broke through the limitations of terrestrial networks, enabling smartphones to access satellite networks without modification, providing seamless communication coverage in remote areas. All-optical network solutions boosted home broadband speeds through 10G PON technology while supporting intelligent orchestration of network resources across multiple scenarios. Additionally, global operators promoted cost reduction and efficiency improvement of 5G networks through co-construction and sharing guidelines, demonstrating the global collaborative trend in technical standards and laying the foundation for building all-encompassing digital infrastructure.
