2024 WMC

The 2024 MWC, themed “Future First”, became a stage for the deep integration of AI and communication. The combination of generative AI technology and 5G-A networks transformed terminal devices from “functional tools” to “intelligent partners”—for example, enabling cross-device collaboration and real-time content generation via AI large models. The commercialization of 5G-A networks accelerated, supporting microsecond-level latency control for industrial robots and full-domain perception for internet of vehicles (IoV), driving the large-scale implementation of smart manufacturing and intelligent transportation. In the terminal sector, innovative products such as naked-eye 3D displays and AI PCs reshaped user experiences through multi-modal interaction. Meanwhile, the launch of communication large models optimized network resource scheduling, reducing energy consumption while improving service response speed. This exhibition marked the deep coupling of AI and communication technology, ushering in a new era of an intelligent society where humans and machines coexist and the physical and virtual worlds converge.
